Yes, Twitter…

I don’t know how many people are like me who weren’t really into the whole e-networking scene but ended up converting.  Just a few years ago, I liked the good old paper and pen for a planner instead of a PDA and a good old phone call because typing on IM is too slow.

But recently, I have gotten myself a Facebook account and, just yesterday, Twitter.  Yup.  Through all the resisting and determination of not getting into these social networking sites, and especially the giving of your life over to the small tweets of 140 characters of yourself and others, I broke down.

What is to become of me?  Will I sit in front of my computer and type updates of my life every half hour?  Will I check the tweets of the people I follow on my Blackberry when I can’t get my hands on my computer??  Will I install Twitter on my Facebook so everyone can see that I have Twitter???

Too late…

Already done them.

It’s not too bad so far.  It’s kind of neat to be able to just type a simple sentence instead of sitting here for an hour trying to figure out what to write for this blog.  Being a SAHM, time is of the essence.  So small tweets here and there can actually help my DH and other family members and friends to know what DD and I are doing at home.  And I’m also using it to keep people updated on the progress of my shop, too.  So far, it’s a win-win situation.  We’ll see when I start to forget to twitter…

New start, new website

I have been on a hiatus for about 7 months now with regard to my Etsy store and my website for reasons that only a SAHM with a baby would understand.  But DD is growing up and does not need my constant attention any more.  So my mind is drifting ever so slightly back toward crafting and designing.

With the fresh feeling of the newness of Spring, I’m very much inclined to freshen up my website also.  So here is an attempt at reinvigorating my poor neglected website.  And I’m very excited about the possibilities!

Where Am I?
